We typically choose protein sources that feel gentler for the gut, like poultry or certain fish.

- Second, don’t cut protein drastically. Since sulfur is part of amino acids, people sometimes assume they should avoid protein altogether, and that’s not the goal. If you research this diet online, you’ll see some of the strictest versions are essentially vegetarian or even close to vegan, but in my experience, that level of restriction is almost never necessary.
